Njuggles Brooch

This was a commission from Shetland Arts for a prop for a play. The brooch had to look like an ancient piece of treasure that a Njuggle would have stolen and kept in the sea for hundreds of years. I used patterns from the St Ninian's Isle treasure as inspiration. I made tine barnacles and the sea urchin from silver. The copper brooch was gold leafed and aged.
