Inspired by the ancient practice of marking sheep ears to signify ownership, these pendants are hand pierced from fine silver, enamelled then kiln fired.

The colours are inspired by the colours of Shetland Sheep wool and the text by the handwritten names of crofts and crofters found in the Shetland Archives.
