Colour Confidence in Shetland Lace Knitting - Online Course

This is a live, in person 4 session course run over 4 weeks - to get the most from it you will have colour projects and knitting homework between the sessions. I use a mixture of live slide presentations, exercises, knitting samples, short technique videos to deliver the class. 

You will gain an understanding and practice of three methods of choosing colours for your project. You will know how to use the colour wheel to help you plan your colours.

Each week is live but recorded and you will have access to the recordings for 6 months following the course completion. You will have email support throughout. Pdfs of the slides, patterns for samples and for completed projects will be sent to you.

By the end of the course you will be confident in your choice and placement of colour,  able to distinguish between and knit the two different types of simple Shetland Lace; Old Shell and New shell.

You will have your own design for a project and colourways for many more. We will plan an extra free session at the end for ‘Show and Tell’ to share our completed projects. The date for this will be agreed by the group. 

You can use any weight of yarn though my samples will be made in Jamiesons of Shetland Ultra Lace Weight.
