Join me to learn how to create your own Cockleshawl.

Using the traditional Shetland Cockleshell stitch in a new way, I designed this shawl. Unlike Othello, its takes a moment to learn but not a lifetime to master. The knitting of it can be addictive and once mastered any shawl or scarf knits up quickly.

During this class we will knit a mini version of the Cockleshawl so you can go ahead with confidence to knit your bigger Cockleshawl. You will also receive a pattern for a complete shawl.

I know 6 hours seems like a long time but we take 3 x 15 min breaks and the day/evening just flies in!

The class is live on Zoom and is taught by using a mixture of short films, charts and written instructions.

The shawl is knit on 2 3.25mm (US 3) dpns or needles to knit flat in Jamieson's of Shetland Ultra or any lace weight equivalent.
